Chef Barry

Here's Barry, Carly & Syds' dad. He not only came along to cheer all of the girls on, but also to be our chef and keep our belly's full so that we can get through the day. Thanks Barry for some great food and all of your cheers!

Way to go girls....

Well, at the end of the first day of showing, Carly and Sydney racked up quite a few ribbons. The ribbons that are hanging belong to both girls. Here they are with Sara, all looking as happy as could be! Time to go and get some dinner and start all over again on Sunday morning!
WHAT A GREAT DAY HAD BY ALL!

Sydney & J.P.

Sydney was quite the character in her second show! She was in the Ameoba Division and competed in 6 classes for that division. Her first class she did not place in due to going around the ring a second time - which none of us could figure out why since she said she knew her course! Go figure!!
Then she placed 5th, 5th, 1st, 2nd, 1st. What an amazing show for her! She finished as the overall RESERVE CHAMPION!!! We are amazed at how quickly she has progressed and hope she continues to master everything she needs to keep climinbing the ladder.

Carly - J.P.

Well, I have to say that Carly did an excellent job in her classes. We took this picture after her first class.
She placed 2nd out of 4
3rd out of 8
4th out of 8
What an amazing job for her first show. J.P. certainly did live up to his name "Paint Me Proud"
Way to go Carly and J.P.

Carly & J.P

Here's Carly in her first ever show! She did an excellent job. We were all so nervous for her, because we knew she would have some really good competition.

She was very composed and looked like she was having a great time.

WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME!!!

We have a new family who just moved to Charleston from Greenville. They have settled in very nicely at J&B and seem to be having a lot of fun with the girls!
Renee, Barry, Taylor and Danielle Grosse joined our J&B Family along with their horse Topper. Topper belongs to Danielle - Taylor will hopefully have a new horse shortly. She is working on one that she seems to have fallen in love with. Good Luck Taylor.
Topper should be joining us on our way home from the Clemson show, we can't wait!

We had a great little cookout on Saturday night, and the girls all had horses to ride..... it was hoppin with horses and laughter! Back to business on Tuesday though, as Jenn gets back to lessons after having a family reunion in Boston.

Huck and Steady are doing very well and keeping the girls happy with their amazing riding.

Keep up with the fun girls!

PIPER..........

Today we bid "farewell" to PIPER. He had been a pasture boarder at J&B since April. He was sold today to his previous owner ... Avery! She came and picked him up and whisked him away to Hollywood, SC. where her new baby foal is being boarded.

I am sure Piper will love his new home. He will be pampered and spoiled and then hopefully pretty soon we will see him in the show ring once again.

Until then, good luck Avery, and enjoy your pampering Piper!
